Product Care

Everything in our collection is crafted with longevity in mind. Here we share tips on how to make your pieces last as long as they were designed to.

CASHMERE CARE GUIDE

Only wash cashmere a few times per season. Handwash or use a special detergent on a gentle machine cycle according to care instructions to prevent pilling.

Squeeze excess water without twisting and lie flat on a towel to dry. Reshape while damp. Between wears, air dry to save energy.

Store knitwear folded in drawers with mothballs – hanging can alter the shape. Use a pilling comb or fabric shaver to retain the fabric's softness.

Help reverse signs of shrinking from older cashmere garments by soaking them in cold or lukewarm water and pulling symmetrically while they dry naturally on a flat surface.

DENIM CARE GUIDE

Denim requires infrequent washing a few times per season due to its hardwearing nature. Spot clean between washes instead.

Wash denim inside out on a gentle machine wash at 30°C or lower to prevent color fading. Specialist detergents can also be used.

Hang out to dry, as heat from a tumble dryer can cause shrinkage. The weight of the denim will help to pull out any creases. Avoid using an iron as heat can weaken the fibers.

Hand stitch a clean rip from the inside, then up and down along the width and length of the tear. Consider cutting old jeans into shorts, rolling and stitching the hems to disguise raw edges.

WOOL CARE GUIDE

Wool doesn't need washing every time you wear it. Its fibers have a natural protective coating, making it resistant to dirt and dust. Hang to ventilate instead.

To wash wool, use a specialist wool detergent at 30°C with a low spin setting. Squeeze out any excess water for heavier garments, without wringing.

Dry woolens flat on a rack, placing a towel underneath to absorb any drips. Hanging wool up to dry will stretch pieces out of shape.

Fold knitwear and store in drawers with mothballs. The weight of the wool will pull the piece out of shape if it's hung up.

FAUX LEATHER CARE GUIDE

Only wash cashmere a few times per season. Handwash or use a special detergent on a gentle machine cycle according to care instructions to prevent pilling.

Squeeze excess water without twisting and lie flat on a towel to dry. Reshape while damp. Between wears, air dry to save energy.

Wipe regularly with a damp, soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution (like dish soap), then wipe with a water-dampened cloth. Dry immediately and thoroughly with a clean towel.

Always air dry at room temperature. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause cracking. Use wide, padded hangers for jackets.Store knitwear folded in drawers with mothballs – hanging can alter the shape. Use a pilling comb or fabric shaver to retain the fabric's softness.

LINEN CARE GUIDE

Avoid washing linen and instead ventilate between wears. Only machine wash on a low spin at 30°C to retain the fiber’s strength and any dyes. Use lukewarm water when hand washing.

Always air-dry. Use the steam from a hot shower to help reduce creasing.

Avoid using thin wire hangers or clips that can leave impressions or cause the garment to lose its shape.

SILK CARE GUIDE

Avoid washing silk and instead ventilate between wears. Hand washing with a special detergent in lukewarm water is recommended. Rinse without wringing.

Check the care instructions to machine wash. Use a low spin and mild detergent. A mesh bag can help protect silk garments from snagging or twisting in the machine.

Lay silk garments within a rolled-up towel to absorb excess moisture. Lay flat or hang to air dry. Steam silk as a gentler alternative to ironing.

Restore shine and softness to older silk garments in a mild white vinegar bath, which helps remove residual soap in the fibers.

ACETATE CARE GUIDE

Dry clean is strongly recommended, especially for structured items. For hand wash-only garments, use cold water with extreme gentleness. Do not wring. Press water out gently. Lay flat to dry or hang on a padded hanger.
