At MO&Co., sustainability is not a trend — it is a responsibility. As a brand of EPO Fashion Group, we are committed to building a fashion future where people and nature coexist in harmony. Our "Co-Grow" initiative represents our formal commitment to green transformation: a promise to achieve net zero emissions across our entire supply chain by 2050.
Earth Day: One Earth, One Future
Earth Day, first celebrated on April 22, 1970, is a global annual event dedicated to environmental protection and education. At MO&Co., every day is an opportunity to act — but Earth Day serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect the one planet we share.
We invite our community — the MOGirls — to join us in embracing low-carbon living: growing plants at home, reducing waste, choosing quality over quantity, and making mindful consumption choices that are good for both you and the planet.
From 2019 on wards, more than 62% of EPO Fashion Group's products are made from natural fibers — materials whose environmental impact is significantly lower than that of chemical synthetic textiles
1. Quantifying Carbon Footprint Reduction Based on Climate Science
MO&Co.'s parent company, EPO Fashion Group, cooperates with TÜV Rheinland— an internationally recognized certification authority — to dynamically monitor and measure greenhouse gas emissions across our supply chain. This science-based approach ensures our carbon reduction commitments are grounded in verified data, not estimates.
2. Carbon Reduction Across the Entire Value Chain
MO&Co. and EPO Fashion Group are actively reducing carbon emissions at every stage of production:
Sustainable Materials We are progressively replacing conventional materials with eco-friendly alternatives — including organic cotton, 100% plant fiber fabrics, recycled fibers, and triacetic acid derived from wood pulp. These choices reduce our reliance on petrochemical-based textiles and lower the overall environmental impact of every garment we produce.
Renewable Energy The installed area of photovoltaic (solar) panels across the EPO supply chain exceeds 1 million square meters — generating clean energy that reduces carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 120,000 tonnes per year. This is equivalent to the carbon sequestration of more than 34,000 hectares of Chinese fir forests for an entire year.
Energy Efficiency We are continuously optimizing factory lighting and HVAC systems, reducing carbon emissions through energy-saving measures across all production facilities.
Sustainable Packaging EPO Fashion Group's B2C packaging is now 100% recycled and biodegradable — eliminating single-use plastics from our customer-facing supply chain entirely.
Carbon Neutral Certification EPO Fashion Group has joined the ranks of 1.5°C business leaders — companies formally committed to limiting global warming to 1.5°C in line with the Paris Agreement.
3. Biodiversity & Habitat Protection
In partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Shenzhen One Earth Nature Foundation, MO&Co. actively supports biodiversity conservation and natural habitat protection. We believe that a healthy planet is the foundation of everything — and that fashion brands have a responsibility to contribute positively to the ecosystems their materials come from.
